STEM Racing (ex F1 in Schools) Greece

F1 in Schools is a multi-disciplinary challenge in which teams of high school students deploy CAD/CAM software to collaborate, design, analyze, manufacture, test, and then race miniature, gas powered, balsa wood F1 cars. Teams must, also, raise sponsorship and manage budgets to fund research, travel and accommodation.

Formula Student

Netherlands

Formula Student is an international engineering competition where university students design, build, test, and race a small, single-seater race car. The competition is an educational project intended to develop real-world engineering, project management, and teamwork skills in students. It simulates the scenario of a hypothetical manufacturing firm contracting a student team to produce a prototype vehicle for evaluation as a production item.

PlaisioBots

Greece

It’s a Greek national competition combining robotics, technology, innovation, and business-minded thinking. Students come up with an idea, build prototypes, work on programming/robotics, and prepare a business plan. Organized by Plaisio Computers, a major tech retailer in Greece, under its social responsibility / educational programs.
